*Pretty in Pink Bunny Trinket Box*

It is never to early to start thinking about spring. The great thing about this piece is with the great colors you can leave it out all year round!
I started with a paper mache box that measures 3" tall by 5" wide. I painted it with cream acrylic paint and sanded lightly. I added a great funky brown and pink circle and diamond print cardstock to the box. I aged it with brown paint around all the edges to give it that old time look and feel.



The bunny is made from Osnaburg fabric that has been grungied and sanded lightly in my own prim mixture of spices. She has seperate eyelids that have been attached. Her nose and mouth have been painted along with the brown patches around her eyes. Her collar and matching party hat is made from a pink cotton fabric with brown dots on it. I trimmed her hat with pink tinsel garland.
She has wire in her ears so they are posable in any position of your choosing.
She measures 12 1/2" from the bottom of her box to the tip of her hat.

~Chic and Shabby Yellow Purse/Tote~

This is one of my newest purses/Tote bags that I just finished up. It is a really nice size. It measures 11 1/2" wide by 11" tall. (Not including the handles.) You can fit everything from your wallet, cellphones, makeup bag, coin purse and whatever else you might carry around.

It is made from a Yellow Cotton fabric with a pink rose and white daisy print. There is a pocket stitched to the front of the bag. Great space for your keys, credit cards or cellphones. The inside lining of the bag is the same Yellow cotton fabric that the pocket on the front is made from. It has a tiny white flower print.

The bag has been double stitched all around for long lasting durability. I also have sewn in a layer of low loft batting inbetween the outer and inner layers of the purse and in the handles. Lastly, I stitched some white lace around the outer edged of the top of the purse. For a finishing touch a tiny pink rose has been stitched to the middle front.

This little guy is just so cute! He is made from muslin fabric that has been lightly stained. He features a handstitched nose, mouth and eyebrows. He has floss hair and blushed cheeks. His white felt diaper has been safety pinned on. He also has white felt wings and a red with white polka dot bow tied around his neck. He has been stitched securely to an old fashioned bobbin. The whole piece measures 11" tall. A great addition to your Valentine's Day decorating.

~Pretty Bunny~

What a sweet face on this bunny. She is now available for adoption. Waiting for someone to love her. Pretty Bunny measures 19" tall(not including her ears) and is made from Osnaburg that has been stained in my prim mixture of spices. Her ears have wire in them so they are posable. I also added a little bit of white sheeps wool needle felted just under her ears. She has wire in her arms so she is able to hold her bunch of carrots. I did not stuff the arms. Her nose, eyes and mouth have been painted.

Her dress is made from a white cotton fabric with black polka dots and has black ric rac stitched to the bottom of her dress. She has cordinating black cotton fabric paints with white polka dots. She comes complete with thread on the back of her neck for easy hanging. I finished her up with a fancy little badge that I pinned to the front of her dress. So sweet!

Another Handmade Blanket...

This beautiful handmade blanket is available right now. It measures 45" in length and 36" wide. It is reversable so you can lay it on either side. The front side is a patchwork pattern made from scrap squares of fabric that I had left from other projects. The back is made with a beautiful flannel fabric that has birdhouses, butterflies, flowers and hearts all over it. I added a layer of Warm & Natural cotton batting in the middle, so it is extra warm and thick. The blanket has purple blanket binding stitched all the way around.

Patchwork Blanket

I make these handmade blankets and sell them at local craft fairs and they are just loved by everyone. This patchwork blanket features squares of different left over fabrics that I had from previous projects. There is a layer of warm and natural in the middle and the back is flannel with a leaping frog pattern. I stitched yellow blanket binding to the edges.

"Flake" The Snowman!

Meet Flake! He is a cute little snow person. He is made from painted and stained Osnaburg. He measures a little over 13" tall. He has red painted wooden dowels for legs that have been anchored into a painted wood plaque. His outfit is made from red and white stained ticking fabric and accented with rusty bells. All his trim is made from grungy paper garland. He is just too sweet!
